When you purchase a new RAM 1500, you can go for the available Snow Plow Prep Group, which includes a 220-amp alternator, truck-side plow wiring harness, and a rear power-sliding window with a defroster. This package doesn’t include the plow itself, but it basically makes the pickup ready to hook up the plow. What this really means is that all RAM trucks can be equipped with a snow plow, but you’ll need to purchase that and other necessary parts on your own.
What if you’re not planning on plowing snow with your truck, but you still want to commute around the Fitchburg area despite the snow and ice on your path?
