What’s New for the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica?

The Pacifica by Chrysler is now known as a luxury minivan—and has been so for three model years now. The 2019 model year does not have any changes, with its lineup of trims consisting of the L, LX, Touring Plus, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and Limited.

Powering the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that delivers 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and is hitched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. An eight-seater, the minivan provides 165 cubic feet of passenger volume and 32.3 cubic feet of standard cargo volume. There are three rows of seats, with the second and third ones being part of a seating and storage system called Stow ‘n Go® (meaning that each row provides under seat storage and can be folded flat under the floor to expand luggage space to 140.5 cubic feet). At the LX trim level, the Pacifica is upgraded with 8-way power adjustability and 4-way power lumbar support on the driver’s seat. The Touring L welcomes front-seat heating and leather seat trim. Second-row heating ability, heating ability on the steering wheel, and a power 8-way front-passenger seat with lumbar adjustment debut Touring L Plus. And exclusive to the Limited are front-seat ventilation and driver-seat memory. Standard comfort and convenience features on the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica include cruise control, remote keyless entry, a 3.5-inch monochrome TFT display, Bluetooth wireless connectivity for hands-free phone operation and audio streaming. The Pacifica also offers a USB port and auxiliary audio jack for connecting and playing media from mobile devices, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone integration, and Uconnect infotainment integration with a 7-inch touchscreen. At the LX trim level, Chrysler upgrades the HVAC system with tri-zone automatic climate control with rear air conditioning. The Touring Plus trim level brings in a charging-only USB port, a garage-door opener, and a one-year trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio. The Touring L Plus level debuts remote start, auto-dimming ability on the rearview mirror, HD Radio technology, a 7-inch full-color digital display, 8.4-inch touchscreen navigation, a second charging-only USB port, the Uconnect Theater system, and a 13-speaker 506-watt Alpine sound system. Exclusive to the Limited are features like a tri-pane panoramic sunroof and an integrated vacuum to help with cleaning the cabin called the Stow ‘n Vac. Standard safety features include eight airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist, a rearview camera, daytime running lamps, a theft-deterrent system, and eight airbags. Added on the Touring L trim and higher are anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear parking assist system, and a panic alarm for the theft-deterrent system. The Limited has LEDs on the daytime running lights for stronger and longer-lasting illumination, rather than the halogen bulbs on the other trims.
